Dominican showbiz figures support protests

Santo Domingo.- Dominican showbiz figures have said present in the various peaceful protests being held at the Plaza de la Bandera against the country’s political and electoral system.

Every day celebrities continue to join, now it’s the  turn of actress Zoe Saldaña, who vowed she will be present on February 27 in what is expected to be the most powerful demonstration of all.

Meanwhile music icon Juan Luis Guerra also voiced support for the protests.
