Marc Anthony helps rebuild orphanage in La Romana

Santo Domingo.– Marc Anthony will help to rebuild an orphanage in La Romana. Thesinger has donated money for the refurbishment and expansion of the Children of Christ orphanage through his Maestro Cares Foundation, which he founded with Colombian concert promoter Henry Cardenas.

So far the foundation has raised US$200,000 which will go towards a new residence hall, classrooms and a baseball field for the orphanage which was founded in 1996 for children who were abused or abandoned and those whose parents were unable to care for them.

Marc attended the groundbreaking ceremony on Friday with his model girlfriend Shannon de Lima.
