Showers taper off, seasonably mild temps continue

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office, ONAMET, forecasts fewer showers starting Tuesday across the country, although the humidity from the prevailing northeast wind could bring light rains.

It said isolated thunderstorms will accompany the showers, especially in the evening and early morning hours over the north, northeast, southeast and Central Mountains.

It forecasts that the seasonably mild temperatures will continue.

ONAMET also continues its advisory on higher than normal waves along the Caribbean Coast, where small craft should sail near shore, without venturing out to sea.
