Police lock down Dominican Republic’s 4th largest city

San Francisco, Dominican Republic.- Since the early Friday the authorities have blocked the access routes to San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic’s 4th largest city.

National Police officers were posted at the exits to Villa Tapia, Santo Domingo, Nagua, Tenares, among others.

The police stop the vehicles, except those carrying food and fuel, as well as members of the press and health workers.
