Scattered showers, mild temps, rough north coast surf

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts continuing scattered showers for all regions except the southwest, from the northeast wind and a trough over the north-northeast coasts.

It also forecasts seasonably mild temperatures.

Onamet issued small craft advisories to remain in port, on higher than normal winds and high waves.

It warns residents in low-lying coastal areas of northeastern Maria Trinidad Sanchez province to be on the lookout for possible coastal flooding.

Onamet adds that the scattered showers can be expected through Wednesday, mostly for the north, northeast, southeast and Central Mountains.
