Agents nab man selling pot a busy struck top

Santo Domingo.- The DNCD on Thursday announced the arrest of a man for selling marijuana to motorists at a truck stop on the Duarte highway, in central Monseñor Noel province.

The DNCD identified the detainee as the Dominican-Haitian José Luis Edwardo “El Fisico”, 27, and said it seized 44 packers of cocaine and marijuana, at the popular truck stop "Parador la Tambora," near the city of Bonao.

In a statement, the DNCD said the Edwardo "had scissors used to prepare the portions, 200 pesos in cash, money seemingly the profit from the first sale he had made, and a cell phone."
