Scattered showers today, Saturday

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts weak to moderate showers for most of the country today, from the humidity dragged by the prevailing east-northeast wind.

It said the North, Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains can also expect some thunderstorms and gusts of wind.

ONAMET said temperatures will continue seasonably mild in the early morning and evening hours, because of the prevailing wind from the east / northeast.

It forecasts weak to moderate rains over the Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains on Saturday, mostly in the afternoon, tapering off on Sunday.
