Industries supports Medina’s ‘vision’ on the economy

Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic Industries Association (AIRD) president Celso Juan Marranzini on Mon. said he supports President Danilo Medina “vision” to reactivate the economy, as well as the specific measures.

“Given that the spread of the virus has been contained as announced, a balance that continues to support the protection of people’s health and life with a gradual economic recovery is something that we value and support as a business sector,” he said.

Medina announced a gradual reopening of the economy entering a new phase which he called “coexisting with COVID-19 safely,” based on the fact that it will not be possible to eradicate this coronavirus until there is a vaccine for it and progress is made in its application.”
