Seasonably mild temperatures, mostly clear skies

Santo Domingo.- Today’s forecast has seasonably mild temperatures in the morning and evening hours, with no rains expected although during the next 24 to 48 hours.

The National Meteorology Office also warns of a dangerous surge along all coasts, from a high pressure system over the Atlantic, which also prevents cloud formation the formation for a large part of the country.

It said those conditions will remain for the next 24 to 48 hours, with a slight increase in cloudiness accompanied by widely scattered showers for some parts of the North, Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains, dragged by the prevailing trade winds.

Meteorology cautions on stronger than normal winds and higher than normal waves along the entire coastline, for which small craft should remain near shore.
