Increasing cloudiness, scattered showers, seasonable temps

Santo Domingo.- The prevailing east-northeast wind and a low pressure system will increase cloudiness, bring scattered showers and gusts of wind to the northeast, southeast and Central Mountains.

The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts seasonably mild temperatures will continue during the early morning and evening hours, but with no significant rains expected for the next 24 to 48 hours.

It issued advisories on higher than normal winds and surf along the Atlantic and Caribbean coasts, for which small craft to remain in port, and those in Samaná Bay not to venture out to sea.

It also warns residents of possible flooding in low lying zones along Atlantic Coast.
