Mostly sunny skies, mild temps, Atlantic coast under advisories

Santo Domingo.- Little changes are expected in the country’s weather, with mostly sunny skies for the South Central, Northeast and Central Mountains, with some widely scattered showers late afternoon and early morning Thursday.

The Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts continuing seasonably mild temperatures nationwide during the evening and early morning hours, from the prevailing East- northeast wind.

It said advisories along the Atlantic coast are still in effect on higher than normal waves, for which small craft should remain in port.

Onamet adds that small craft can operate near shore along the Caribbean coast, without venturing out to sea.
