Mild tremors felt in eastern region

Santo Domingo.– Two mild tremors of varying magnitudes occurred on Friday in the Dominican Republic, with low intensity and therefore unnoticed by most of the population, reported the US Geodetic Survey.

The first quake of 3.3 degrees occurred at 8:29 local time and was detected at a depth of 25 miles in the Dominican Republics’s eastern region.

The second quake occurred at 8:54 local time with an intensity of 3.6 degrees and was recorded at a depth of 77.7 miles in the east of the country. The Emergency Operations Center didn’t report any damages.
