Santiago also has tip line against drug traffickers

SANTIAGO. – Several years after its implementation in Santo Domingo, the Santiago Office of the Prosecutor launched the Anonymous Tip Line against narcotics traffickers, and aims to encourage citizens to cooperate in the war on drugs.

The ceremony in the Santiago Province Courthouse was held prior to a session of the Antinarcotics Policy Coordination Table in the judicial district.

Prosecutor Luisa Liranzo headed the launch in which senior officers of the Police, the Antinarcotics Agency and representatives of the clergy and among other institutions and personalities also participated.
