Showers, thunderstorms nationwide except SW

Santo Domingo.- A low pressure system and the prevailing northeast wind will bring showers and thunderstorms to all regions except the Southwest, the National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecast Thursday.

It said there’ll be mild temperatures early morning and evening Friday, with slightly increasing showers in the North, Northeast and Cibao Zone.

It cautions small craft to remain in port on higher than normal winds and waves along the Atlantic coast, and operate close to shore along the Caribbean side.
