Scattered showers, lower temperatures

Santo Domingo.- A new frontal system over the Windward Passage will bring downpours with thunderstorms to the Northwest, North, Northeast and Central Mountains, expanding gradually to other regions.

The National Meteorology Office said the system will also bring lower temperatures and higher than normal waves along the entire Atlantic coast and showers over most of the country in the next 48 hours, more intense over the border zone, Northwest and North.

Tuesday will be partly cloudy with widely scattered to moderate showers and occasional gusts if wind.
