Fernandez returns after events in the UN., Colombia

Santo Domingo.- President Leonel Fernandez returned Sunday night from Colombia, where he participated in the 6th Summit of the Americas and a meeting of the Caribbean Community (Caricom), headed by U.S. president Barack Obama.

The chief executive arrived aboard a private flight at Las Americas Airport from Cartagena at 10:30 p.m., after a six day tour which included his participation in two debates in the United Nations in New York, on the Volatility of Food and Petroleum Prices.

The Head of State arrived accompanied by Presidency chief of staff Cesar Pina, Foreign Relations minister Carlos Morales, Drug policy adviser Marino Vinicio Castillo, and several business leaders.
