Electoral Board delivers all voting materials locally, abroad

Santo Domingo. – The Central Electoral Board (JCE) concluded the delivery of valises to 155 electoral boards in as many municipalities across the country, as well as to several cities abroad.

The pouches contain the electoral materials to be used in the 14, 470 polling places -13,865 in the country and 605 abroad- including voter registry, affidavits, seals, indelible red and office materials.

Friday is the last day for the presidents and secretaries of polling places to retrieve the valises from the electoral boards.

JCE president Roberto Rosario said the 6.5 million eligible voters will go to the ballot boxes on Sunday to select the new President and the Dominican Deputies Abroad who’ll represent the diaspora.
