Scattered showers, increasing by Sunday

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office for Friday forecasts scattered showers and possible thunderstorms in the northeast, southeast, southwest, Central Mountains and border zone.

It said the high temperatures and precipitation will continue from the humidity dragged by the prevailing east-southeast wind.

For Saturday and Sunday Meteorology forecasts increasing precipitation from the year’s first tropical wave, expected to pass south of the country.

It adds that the higher than normal winds and waves continue, for which small craft are cautioned to remain near the coast.
