Danilo Medina and Hillary Clinton agree to strengthen ties

Santo Domingo.– Dominican president-elect Danilo Medina and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton considered as positive that the two countries continue efforts to strengthen relations in all fields of diplomacy and trade.

Through a brief statement, Medina’s Press Office said the agreement in this regard occurred during a phone conversation held after Medina was declared the winner in Dominican Republic’s last elections.

Clinton congratulated Medina for the victory and both agreed on the need to continue strengthening the ties between the two nations.
