Santo Domingo.- The prevailing east-southeast will bring scattered showers with thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening to all regions except the northwest, and seasonably high temperatures will continue

The National Meteorology Office said temperatures of 35 degrees and even higher were recorded Wednesday in Santiago Rodriguez, Espaillat, Samana, Santiago and Independencia provinces.

It adds that higher than normal sea waves continue along the Caribbean coast, for which for small craft are advised to operate close to shore.
