Dominican phenome Marileidy Paulino goes for the gold

Tokyo.-Only five years ago Marileidy Paulino was just a teenager looking to break through in track and field.

Suddenly, the now brilliant 400-meter sprinter, a native of Nizao, Peravia, in the south of the Dominican Republic, has the world of athletics enchanted with her superb display at the Tokyo Games.

She goes for the gold on Friday.
