Scattered showers, thunderstorms for much of the country

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) forecasts showers with some thunderstorms for much of the country Friday afternoon and early evening, from a trough over the country and the clouds dragged by the prevailing east wind

It said the showers will be more frequent in the southeast, southwest, Central Mountains and border zone, during the next 24 hours.

Onamet adds that the seasonably high temperatures will continue.
