Probe of alleged plot against Haiti president concluded, DA

Santiago. – National District prosecutor Yenni B. Reynoso on Monday revealed that the investigation into ex coronel Pedro Julio –Pepe- Goico’s alleged plot against Haiti president Michel Martelly has concluded.

"We’re already in the process of notifying the person who appointed us to conduct the probe, who is the Justice Minister," Reynoso said.

She declined to reveal however whether the persons being investigated will be charged in connection to the case.

In an April 16, 2012, letter Justice minister Radhames Jimenez asked Reynoso to conduct a thorough investigation after Port-au-Prince’s request for judicial cooperation.
