Former president Leonel Fernandez goes to Funglode

Santo Domingo.– On his first morning as former president, Leonel Fernandez left his home on the Juan Parada Bonilla street, in Naco, at 11:10 am, about the same time his wife and now vice president Margarita Cedeño was leaving.

Cedeño, now with a bigger escort, departed in a car toward the Gustavo Mejia Ricart street and Ortega y Gasset Avenue, while Fernandez went opposite way escorted by an SUV. He went to his apartment on the Julio Andres Aybar Street, where he lived during his first term.

Fifty minutes later, former president Fernandez arrived at the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (Funglode), an institution he founded and of which he is the honorary chairman.

It is expected that in the future Fernandez devote much of his there, where he has his private office.
