Santo Domingo.- The Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts mostly sunny skies and some widely scattered showers, from a weak high pressure system stationary over the country.

It said the showers with occasional thunderstorms will be mostly over the border area and Central Mountains, with seasonably high temperatures.

The ONAMET also forecasts little change in weather conditions during the next 48 hours and has lifted all small craft warnings on normal surf.
