The Emergency Operations Center (COE) reported that seven provinces remain on green alert. In contrast, the number of provinces on yellow alert rises to 11 due to a trough over the country.

Given the risk of flooding and rising water currents, the provinces of Montecristi, Espaillat, Puerto Plata, Valverde, Santiago, María Trinidad Sánchez, La Vega, Hato Mayor, Samaná, Monseñor Nouel and Duarte were placed on yellow alert .

While on green alert are Monte Plata, Sánchez Ramírez, Hermanas Mirabal, San Cristóbal, Santiago Rodríguez, Dajabón and El Seibo.
