Santo Domingo.-The former first lady Rosa Gómez de Mejía died last night after suffering a sudden heart attack at her residence in La Julia, in the Capital.
At the time of suffering the cardiac episode, she was taken to the Abreu Clinic on Independencia Avenue, where the doctors tried to revive and stabilize but their efforts were to no avail.
