DT readers evenly spread on how they ended 2012

Santo Domingo.- The thoughts of Dominican Toady readers were evenly spread as to their thinking on how to end 2012, the year when Congress approved a sweeping tax package expected to raise prices on even basic staples.

When asked “How should Dominicans end the year?,” the responses “By doing more to improve the country,” “Trying to avoid problems, and “As always, more partyin’ and cold beer” all drew 1,416 votes, or 25% of all ballots cast.

The response “By getting out now, before it’s too late” drew 1,415 votes, or 24% of DT readers who took part in the unscientific poll.
