Surfers’ delight, Atlantic coast waves at 10 feet

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts low probability of rainfall from a high pressure system over the North Atlantic, although the prevailing east wind will drag widely scattered showers to the north, northeast, southeast and central regions.

It said cloudiness will increase Thursday and Friday, with some widely scattered showers.

Onamet issued small craft advisories for the Atlantic coast on “dangerous” waves higher than 10 feet near shore, for which they should remain in port, including along the Caribbean coastline.
