Moderate to heavy showers for Friday, Saturday

Santo Domingo.- A trough over the country and the prevailing east wind will bring downpours and thunderstorms for the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, Central Mountains and border area.

For Saturday the National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts moderate to heavy showers with thunderstorms and gusts of wind for the Central Mountains and border area.

It said the temperatures will be seasonably high during the day but much lower in the evening and early morning hours.
