Scattered showers, thunderstorms over the next 24 hours

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts scattered showers with thunderstorms over the next 24 hours, from a trough over the Windward Channel and a tropical wave over the Mona Passage.

It said the showers will be mostly in the afternoon over the East, Northeast, Southeast, Central Mountains and border area.

Onamet forecasts scattered showers with thunderstorms for those regions during the next 24 hours, adding that the seasonably high temperatures will continue, from the prevailing East/Southeast wind.
