Walk to make Santiago a clean city

Santiago.– The"Santiago Somos Todos" organization announced that on November 9 there will be a ‘walk’ "for a Clean Santiago" in the historic area of the city.

The march will start at Duarte Park and will tour Del Sol street, up to the Heroes of the Restoration Monument, where hundreds of citizens are expected to congregate.

The "Santiago Somos Todos" president Kalin Nazer Dabas told reporteres that the initiative comes amid concerns due to the accumulation of garbage in various sectors. "Today we live in a polluted city, at the risk of being exposed to epidemics and diseases," he stressed.
