A few showers, mild temps for the weekend

Santo Domingo.- The weekend arrives with a few showers and partly cloudy skies for much of the country, from the prevailing east-northeast wind and a trough over Puerto Rico.

The National Meteorology Office forecasts scattered showers during the afternoon and early evening hours over the Northeast, Southeast and border area, continuing into tomorrow Saturday, especially for the Northeast and Southeast.

It adds that temperatures will be seasonably mild during the evening until early Saturday morning, from the prevailing wind.
