Medina off to Panama for Central Amierca summit

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina will fly toPanama today Friday to attend the 42nd Summit of Heads of State andGovernment of the Central American Integration System (SICA).

He is slated to depart on a private flight from SanIsidro Airbase at 1pm, the Presidency Press Office said on its website. Medinais scheduled to return Saturday evening.

Presidency chief of staff Gustavo Montalvo and Aministrativeminister Jose Ramon Peralta, among other senior officias. will accompany the President.

The summit will be held December 13 and 14 at Panama’s Cocléprovince, where the leaders will debate issues including regional security.
