Medina creates Special Committee for Los Haitises

Santo Domingo.– President Danilo Medina designates a SpecialCommittee for the Los Haïtises National Park via decree 360-13, with the aim ofconducting a census to establish the current situation in the area and proposesolutions to the problems encountered, within a 60-day period.

The delegation will be chaired by Environment minister Bautista Rojas and will include Defense minister Sigfrido Pared, Dominican Agrarian Institute director Radhamés Valenzuela, theState Sugar Council director Jose Joaquin Dominguez, and National Housing Institute (INVI) director Alma Fernandez.
