Antinarcotics agents arrest three, seize 103 packs of cocaine

Santo Domingo.– National Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents arrested three men and seized 103 packs containing a white powder presumed to be cocaine.

According to Diariolibre.com, the suspects are Carlos Manuel Gonzalez Cuevas, Daniel M. Díaz and Dante Reynoso Valdez.They were arrested in Sarasota Avenue, Bella Vista sector, National District.

DNCD spokesman Miguel Medina said the drug was hidden within four bundles and a sack inside a Toyota Four Runner SUV, license plate X140305, which one of the suspects was driving.

Among the 103 alleged packages of cocaine, 75 of them were tagged with the number 111 and the other 28 with the letter E, Medina said.
