Sobeida Felix keeps fighting for her freedom

Santo Domingo.- Money laundering convict Sobeida Felix Morel is not stopping in her pursuit of freedom, and her efforts are now going to the San Cristobal Court of Appeals, where last week she filed a new appeal.

Her appeal is against judge Willy de Jesus Nuñez’s decision of denying parole. According to the ruling, the time she’s served in prison hasn’t paid her debt to society for the damage caused by her actions. Sobeida

Felix Morel, who gained notoriety as the paramour of Puerto Rican kingpin Jose Figueroa Agosto, has served only 30 months of a five year sentence.
