Italian buried under collapsed wall in Las Terrenas dies

Las Terrenas – Samaná.- The Italian Stefano Benvenuto died Tuesday night, after a wall of a nightclub, which was being remodeled, collapsed and buried him.  The tragic accident happened in the town of Los Pescadores, located in Las Terrenas.

The foreigner was trapped under the rubble of a building under construction that collapsed.

Benvenuto was hospitalized at the Advanced Medicine and Telemedicine Diagnostic Center, in the city of Santo Domingo.

The Italian, who was in intensive care due to his health condition, owned a restaurant next to the place that collapsed.
