SantoDomingo.- PLD Deputy Carlos Gómez from Santo Domingo province has undergonebariatric surgery (gastric band) to reduce 70% of his stomach at the Ney AriasLora Hospital.
Thelaparoscopic gastric band bariatric surgery was carried out at thehealth center with the aim of reducing the legislator’s weight from 272lbs to a 180lb target.
The procedure was directed by Gustavo Rodríguez Blanco and attended by Jaime Bidó,Alejandro Soto, Ángela Díaz and Alexander Álvarez.
