No rain, cooler temperatures for today, Tuesday

SANTO DOMINGO. – The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts that a frontal system approaching from the north will again bring seasonably cooler temperatures starting tonight and early Tuesday.

It reports few significant changes in weather, with scarce rains nationwide and only some scattered showers over the Eastern mountain range, and the northeast, from the prevailing southeast-east wind.

Onamet added that due to the marine conditions in the Atlantic coast and Samana bay, small craft should stay close to shore.
