Canadian pedophilia suspect deported to his country(Update)

santo Domingo.- Canadian oitlet CNW Telbec reports that Québec police investigators of sexual exploitation of children on the Internet escorted Cote from the Dominican Republic on Thursday, in connection with sexual assault and child pornography charges.,

It said the suspect will appear Friday afternoon at a Montreal courthouse for arraignment on charges of importing, possession and production of child pornography, as well inciting sexual contact with minors.

FILE.- Dominican police assigned to Interpol arrested Canadian national Joseph Charles Philippe Cote, 81, wanted in his country on charges pedophilia, sexual exploitation and prostitution.

Police said Cote, detained in a resort town of Sosua, Puerto Plata, on an international arrest warrant, was repatriated from Punta Cana International Airport Thursday afternoon aboard Air Canada flight 1855,

Interpol said Cote, charged with "crimes against children, sexual offenses, sexual exploitation and/or prostitution," was handed over to Canadian agents at Punta Cana.
