Scattered showers, seasonably mild temperatures

SANTO DOMINGO. – A frontal system located northeast of the country headed eastward will bring scattered showers with gusts of wind to all regions except the Southwest, the National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecast today.

It said in expects weak precipitation during the next 24 to 36 hours over a large part of the territory, but stronger in the North and Northeast.

Higher than normal waves and strong winds continue to buffet he Atlantic coast, where small craft should remain in port; whereas along the Caribbean seaboard they can operate near shore, without venturing out to sea.

ONAMET adds that temperatures will continue seasonably mild especially in the early morning and evening hours, from the prevailing northeast wind.
