Tropical wave brings scattered showers, thunderstorms

Santo Domingo. – A tropical wave over Puerto Rico and a trough will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the Northwest, North, Northeast, Southeast, Central Mountains and border area, increasing toward afternoon and evening.

The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) said the downpours and thunderstorms will continue into Thursday afternoon and evening.

Onamet adds that the showers will begin to taper off on Friday, especially over the Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains.
