Widely scattered showers, thunderstorms

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts scattered showers Tuesday afternoon over the border area, Central Mountains and northeast, from a trough over eastern Cuba.

It said the country’s southwestern and central mountains ranges can expect increasing cloudiness, but with low probability of rains.

Onamet said the East- Southeast wind could set off scattered showers and some occasional thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon, mostly over the eastern region.
