Scattered showers but high temps continue

Santo Domingo.- Humidity from the prevailing East wind will combine with the local convection to bring downpours and thunderstorms, especially the Northeast, Southeast, Central Mountains and Border Zone.

The National Meteorology Office into (Onamet) Tuesday forecasts increasing cloudiness in the afternoon with often heavy showers and thunderstorms, but with no relief in sight for the higher than normal temperatures.

Greater Santo Domingo can expect partly cloudy skies and widely scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
