Scattered showers, high temperatures continue

Santo Domingo. – The National Weather Office (Onamet) on Wednesday forecasts scattered showers with possible thunderstorms, from a trough over the western part of the country, moving eastward.

It said the showers will be more frequent in the afternoon and evening over all regions except the Northwest, while temperatures continue seasonably warm

Onamet also cautions on the need to ration water, as seasonal drought continues as its affects are especially felt in the South, Southwest and Northwest.
