Santo Domingo.- A low pressure system over the country and the prevailing East-Southeast wind drag clouds toward the territory, causing scattered showers with thunderstorms.
The National Meteorology Office forecasts that the rains will be more frequent in all regions except the southwest.
For today Thursday scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening for most provinces.
Greater Santo Domingo will be partly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Meteorology adds that Tropical Storm Philippe, located around 720 kilometers South-Southeast of Bermuda, doesn’t pose any threat for the Dominican Republic.
