Palestinian leader has a busy agency Friday

Santo Domingo. – President Leonel Fernandez will be busy today with the visit by Palestinian Authority president Mahmud Abbas, with military honors rendered at 12 noon in front of the National Palace and a gala in the evening.

The two leaders will then hold a work meeting, and at 1 p.m. Fernandez will bestow the Duarte, Sanchez and Mella Plaque of Honor on Abbas in the Hall of Ambassadors.

At 2:45 Abbas will visit Congress where he’ll be declared Guest of Honor; visit the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development at 4 p.m. with Fernandez, who’ll host a gala for the Palestinian leader in the National Palace at 8 p.m.
