Teachers’ union election shutters schools tomorrow

Santo Domingo.- The Education Ministry on Tuesday announced there’ll be no classes tomorrow Wednesday in all schools across the country, due to the elections of the Dominican teachers’ union, ADP.

Education Minister Josefina Pimentel said the public schools will be used as polling stations.

In a statement, Pimentel said teachers should make up those hours of classes to comply with the school calendar.
