Widely scattered showers, thunderstorms through Saturday

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office forecasts widely scattered showers andthunderstorms for most of the nation Friday, from a trough north of Dominican territory.

It said the showersand thunderstorms will be more frequent in the afternoon and evening, mostlyover the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, Central Mountains and border area.

Onamet said thosesame conditions will prevail over the country during the next 24 hours.
